Client Critiques
This method has superior range and acceptable audio/video signals. The surprising factor about it is the limitations it has for a $300 method...
I have much more than one kid and wanted to invest in a second camera so I can switch in between channels and view each kid (a reasonable expectation given that quite a few lower cost systems offer you an extra camera choice to do just that). Right here is the response offered by their client service: "There is not a second camera choice for that system. It has two channel choice to reduce interference" (huh? you have two channels but cannot use a second camera?) This appears quite short sighted to me unless their expected demographic is only for persons with a single kid, particularly for the expense of this program.
Another oddity is the use NiCad batteries in the portable monitor, Nicads have nicely documented memory impact issues if you don't permit them to entirely discharge just before recharging them, this is an additional inconvenience that I am not positive why they chose this rather of NIMH or LI-Ion batteries.
I suppose I can reside with the battery problem but the camera problem is producing me take into account returning this product for yet another that will fit my wants.
Highly very good monitor.
Pros:
(+) Actually like how it consists of two monitors (so two consumers in distinct locations can each monitor our son).
(+) Like how the handheld video monitor can be connected and displayed on big Tv
Cons:
(-) Some static interference as soon as in a whilst
(-) Handheld video monitor when not connected with the ac plug will go into sleep mode soon after a handful of minutes (not audio, just video). You will need to press a button on best to turn it back on
(-) Cannot pan or zoom
For roughly the exact same cost, you can get the Summer Most effective View monitor which I also bought (kept each for numerous locations). Personally like that a single greater due to. It pretty much addresses all the down falls of this unit becoming reviewed: clearer picture, ability to pan zoom and video stays on even when AC not connected. The only factor is that the Most effective View can not connect to a bigger Tv and only contains the handheld unit. Really all you desire in my opinion even though.
Summer tends to make superb goods.
